Big Sweep Rebranding

Kuala Lumpur, September 30, 2021 - Pan Malaysian Sweeps Sdn Bhd (Big Sweep) announced the official launch of its rebranding, where the new branding is a modern and fun concept to reach younger audiences.

The purpose of the rebrand is to spread positivity among society. For elders, Big Sweep Game not only adds spice to life but also brings happiness and fortune when winning. The game is also suitable for the younger generation as lite entertainment, stress relief, and a life-changing opportunity. At the same time, Big Sweep empowers charity and creates value for the community.

Big Sweep has been in the market for 33 years, and its CEO, Clarence Tan realized that now is the right time to embark on a rebranding exercise. Fully aware of the power and importance of branding, he decided to invest millions in the project, which was commissioned by famous Malaysian logo designer, Jinks Chong.

The new logo was created using Golden Ratio and psychological principles. It is said that 80% of people would see the logo as a “horse” symbol, and 20% of them would see another element in the logo, which is the “hand” symbol. Where the “horse” symbol represents success, and the “hand” symbol represents “reaching out a helping hand”.

Big Sweep also launched its bilingual new slogan which is “Play For Charity” and “大彩一张慈善一步”. Where the Chinese slogan means one lottery ticket is equal to one step in charity, similar in meaning to the English phrase, “many a little makes a mickle”. Small steps such as purchasing lottery tickets will also lead to big steps in charity, when people are in the midst of having fun, they will also be raising funds for Yu Cai Foundation (YCF).

As of 2020, Pan Malaysian Sweep Sdn Bhd has donated 26 million ringgit to the YCF, a charitable organization dedicated to nurturing talent through education. Purchasing lottery tickets is not just a game of chance to become wealthy, but also provides the ability to help the vulnerable in society.
